Kathmandu to Pokhara and the trailhead
Travel to Pokhara, then continue toward Jhinu or Ghandruk.
Reach Chhomrong
Walk through villages and stone stairways to the sanctuary gateway.
Chhomrong to Deurali
Descend, cross the river and climb gradually through forest.
MBC to Annapurna Base Camp
Enter the sanctuary and continue to base camp.
Return through Chhomrong
Descend carefully, with flexible overnight stops.
Return to Kathmandu
Travel back through Pokhara and preserve a reasonable buffer.
Fit the trek to the person.
Consider altitude experience, walking fitness, available days, season, comfort expectations and contingency time. Verify current requirements and local conditions before travel.
