Journey start

Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

Travel by road to the usual starting and finishing point.

Trek days 1–2

Syabrubesi to Langtang Village

Follow the river through forest and climb into the wider upper valley.

Trek day 3

Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa

Take a shorter day and explore Kyanjin at about 3,870 m.

Trek day 4

Choose a Kyanjin day hike

Depending on fitness and conditions, consider lower or upper Kyanjin Ri, Tserko/Tsergo Ri, or a gentler walk toward Langshisha.

Trek days 5–7

Return to Syabrubesi

Retrace the valley at a comfortable pace.

Journey finish

Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Return by road and allow flexibility for conditions.
