Rough itinerary

A flexible planning outline.

This is a planning example—not a package or fixed schedule. The final pace should reflect acclimatization, access, weather, permits and the traveler.

Day 1

Kathmandu to Syange or Jagat

Travel through Besisahar and continue by road toward the trail gateway.

Days 2–3

Jagat to Chame

Walk through Dharapani and climb through forest and villages to Chame.

Days 4–5

Chame to Manang

Continue through Pisang and choose the lower or higher route according to conditions.

Day 6

Acclimatization in Manang

Rest at the same sleeping elevation and take a controlled day hike.

Days 7–8

Manang to Tilicho Base Camp

Continue through Khangsar and cross demanding terrain carefully.

Day 9

Tilicho Lake

Start early for the lake, then descend to sleep at base camp.

Days 10–11

Return to Chame

Retrace through Khangsar and Manang toward Chame.

Day 12

Chame to Kathmandu

Return by road through Besisahar, allowing flexibility for delays.
